Remember Tibet?... The country you saw in films like "Shangri-La" where they lived peacefully and taught zen philosophy and personal freedom?... Between 1949 and 1951, the mainland Chinese government occupied and nationalized Tibet as a part of China... They even passed a law forbidding display of the Tibetan Flag... The meaning of the flag images, and a short history are here and here.       His Holiness, the Dalai Lama (pictured left) says we shouldn't say anythng bad about China, and I'll honor his wishes except to note that the Chinese Mainland Government has a well deserved reputation for frightening people and driving a good portion of thier own people out of thier country... We present the following plate designs in support of the Tibetan people, both at home and in exile.
